Covid - 19 Restrictions

Due to COVID the Government has brought into law new restrictions and changes
to how bars, pubs and restaurants; including our own Clubhouse are to operate for the next six months.

From Thursday 24th September you will be required by law to wear a face covering
inside the Clubhouse at all times, only removing this once seated at a table to eat or drink.

This is a step which we wanted to avoid if possible but we must follow the law or
face penalties for the Club which range from having a fine of £10,000
to having our licence taken away and losing the bar entirely.

Individuals can also be fined £200 for not following the new law.

I ask for the understanding and patience of members during this incredibly frustrating time;
please do not take offence at being reminded by staff that you must wear a face covering.

The second major change is that we are required by law to operate a “Table Service”.

Members will enter the bar and immediately take a seat and wait for our staff
member to take your order.

This will cause a delay during busy times and again I hope that members
will understand that service will be affected by these changes –

we simply have no choice but to follow the law in this matter.

Following advice from the Government & FA

Brading are implementing the following procedures ;

The name, address and phone number of everybody

entering the ground will be recorded - No exceptions.

The changing rooms, showers will be closed

& only the Clubhouse toilets will be in use.

A strict 'one-way' system will be observed in the Clubhouse

The bar area will operate a table service

We appreciate your help in observing these rules

In 2021 Brading Town Football Club
will celebrate 150 years.

It is one of the oldest football clubs
in the World

To celebrate this remarkable
achievement it is planned to
hold a number of events.
